Welcome to the renovated Rounding Edges Meditation Coaching Blog. For those who are new, let me tell you a little about myself and share what this blog is all about!


About me

Hello & Welcome! My name is Sean Phillips, I am the founder and

coach here at Rounding Edges Meditation Coaching.


My meditation journey started in 2012 and deepened during especially challenging times in my college years and medical school. Eventually, I decided to take a year away from school to independently study the mind, philosophy, religion, spirituality, consciousness, and meditation practices. I began cultivating a deep sense of inner peace, happiness, and mental wellness that I couldn't fully explain nor previously thought possible for myself, but seeing and experiencing the prevalent states of poor mental health amongst my peers and colleagues, I understood the significance of finding ways to heal. I spent the following years traveling, exploring, meeting with different meditation and spiritual teachers, and continuing my studies and practice. It has been a long and winding journey, but I am very glad to now share what I have learned with others and walk the path beside you. (more about me here)

About the blog

Rounding Edges began in 2019, solely as a blog!


It was the place where I would journal, share, and reflect on the mediation practices I was learning and their applications to my daily life. A lot has been added to Rounding Edges since then, but that same spirit lives on in the blog today. Most posts I share fall into a few main categories:

  1. Deep Dives: Focusing on major coaching points, these blogs provide greater detail, clarification, and/or additional insight into topics that benefit from a longer explanation.

  2. Answering Common Questions: If you have a question that you didn't get to ask during a coaching session or group event, send me a message and I would be happy to use it for a weekly blog post!

  3. How-to's: Whether it's a specific meditation practice or some facet of integrating the techniques into everyday life, these posts will break it down.

  4. Gathered Goodies: Things I've discovered that were personally helpful and relevant to the meditation journey that I'd like to share with you: book recommendations, YouTube videos, movies, poetry, art, music, etc.


As you can see, this is the only blog currently posted but I will be re-releasing many of the old posts to match the re-design of the website.
